Review and analyze outstanding patient accounts and insurance claims to identify opportunities for payment renegotiation. – Negotiate with patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to establish payment plans, settlement agreements, and alternative payment arrangements. – Advocate on behalf of the company to maximize reimbursement rates and minimize payment delays or denials. – Collaborate with internal teams, including billing specialists and legal counsel, to develop negotiation strategies and action plans. – Maintain detailed records of negotiation activities, interactions, and outcomes in internal systems. – Monitor payment renegotiation progress and follow up on agreed-upon terms to ensure compliance. – Stay updated on payer policies, reimbursement rates, and industry best practices related to payment renegotiation. – Provide support and guidance to internal teams on payment negotiation processes and strategies. – Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to payment renegotiation. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends or patterns in payment renegotiation and develop strategies for improvement.
